Dr. Huang is a lead statistician on four Phase I clinical trials of HIV vaccines within the HIV Vaccine Trials Network (HVTN). Through collaborations with the HVTN Laboratory Program and the Collaboration on AIDS Vaccine Discovery (CAVD), Dr. Huang is actively involved in statistical methodology research on data from immunological assays, including the ELISpot, Intracellular Cytokine Staining (ICS), Anti-HIV-1 IgG Capture Enzyme Immunoassay (BED-CEIA) to detect early HIV, and TZM-bl neutralizing antibody assay. Her research of interest is in the analysis of high dimensional genomic data, multiple comparisons and multiple tests, statistical modeling with interval-censoring covariates and analysis of receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. Prior to joining SCHARP in 2004, Dr. Huang earned her doctorate degree in Biostatistics from the Department of Biostatistics at the University of California, Los Angeles.
