| The clinical research sites of the HIVNET are
located in the U.S. and abroad. Twenty-two research sites are currently located in 11
cities in the United States, and 11 international sites are located in Asia, Africa, the
Caribbean, and South America. In addition to recruiting and following participants for
research, all of these sites provide HIV counseling and testing, risk-reduction
